Environmental and Natural Resources Pathway

Environmental & Natural Resources Pathway

With a focus on making Earth cleaner and healthier, our Environmental and Natural Resources Pathway instructs students on how to preserve our planet’s natural resources and prevent harmful effects. This pathway encompasses planning, researching, and designing engineering and technical aspects that prevent and control environmental hazards, which leads to students exploring:

Environmental Protection

  • Students learn how to identify, assess, and address environmental hazards to protect ecosystems and public health.

Sustainability

  • Students study sustainable practices and strategies to promote the harmonious coexistence of human activities and the environment.

Pollution Prevention

  • Students explore techniques for locating, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants and hazards that impact the environment and public health.

Our Environmental and Natural Resources Pathway offers opportunities to work on environmental challenges and make contributions to the protection of natural resources. Students access state-of-the-art laboratories and resources to conduct research, develop solutions, and analyze environmental data. They develop skills that are in high demand across industries that are focused on environmental protection and sustainability. The pathway allows students to make a legitimate impact through interactive work while gaining career-ready expertise.
