Agriscience Magnet Program (AMP)

AMP Admissions

Join AMP through Admissions and Enrollment

AMP magnet school program is an open enrollment campus that's available to high school students across San Antonio, regardless of school district boundaries. Anyone with an interest in studying one of our multiple pathways of agricultural science or participation in the FFA youth leadership organization is encouraged to apply. With our six available magnet pathways, our admissions and enrollment remain the same for each route that a student selects. However, with over 500 students, space at AMP is limited, so it is recommended to apply promptly.

Potential AMP Students

The Agriscience Magnet Program (AMP) on the Madison High School campus is available to high school students in NEISD and the San Antonio area who have an interest in studying the many areas of agriculture science and participating in the FFA youth leadership organization.

The application period is from October to February for current 8th graders. Interested students may submit an application after February, but will only be considered for enrollment if space is available.

AMP may accept a limited number of enrollments from current 9th or 10th graders by way of transfer from other high schools in North East ISD or surrounding school districts for the school year, dependent upon availability of space

Step Two: Complete an Online Career Assessment

Notice of Acceptance

Acceptance notifications are sent in February via email.

If the quantity of applications exceeds program capacity, notification will be sent and students will be placed on a waiting list. As space becomes available, enrollment invitations will be sent to students meeting admission criteria.
